The comrade Ma Thi Nguyen, Member of Provincial Standing committee, vice chairwoman of Provincial People’s Committee made a speech at the ceremony
There is over 1,800 hectares of natural land at Vo Tranh commune, including 650 hectares of land for tea plants. Tea plant has been condidered as key plant to contribute to the socio-economic development of locality since a long time ago. According to current statistics, tea plants account for 50% of total communal product value and creates stable jobs and income for 80% households at the commune.
In order to improve its own status as well as value of Vo Tranh tea product, communal authority is determined to build collective trademark for Vo Tranh tea: instructing nearly 700 households to register trademark; sending tea sample for quality test; holding conference to select symbol; building management content and using Vo Tranh tea trademark, etc. The Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology granted certificate of Vo Tranh tea trademark on February 23rd, 2013.

Speaking at the ceremony, the comrade Ma Thi Nguyet, Member of Provincial Standing committee, vice chairwoman of Provincial People’s Committee stressed that this event brought a great significance in order to confirm and promote trademark for tea of Phu Luong district in particular and Thai Nguyen tea in general. The promomotion of this trademark will contribute to strengthening tea industry of province, as well as create stable status for Thai Nguyen tea in domestic and foreign markets.
