Results of leadership and guidance in preparation for the 4th Congress of Trade --UNION-- at the grassroots level towards the 4th Congress of the Industry and Trade Sector, for the term 2023-2028.

Joint Stock Company on March 19th, 2023.

Currently, the Industrial and Trade Labor Union directly manages 30 grassroots trade unions, among which 26 hold Congresses, and 4 hold Conferences. The Congresses of the grassroots trade unions have been successfully implemented according to the plan and completed before May 2023, with the following organizational contents: The grassroots trade unions have approved the term-end summary reports, assessing strengths, weaknesses, causes, lessons learned, and proposed directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2023-2028 term; The evaluation reports by the Executive Committee have emphasized self-criticism and serious, straightforward criticism, in line with the level of activities of the Executive Committee during the term, while clearly indicating the causes and measures for improvement; The Trade Union Congress has discussed and unified the objectives, tasks, and directions for the upcoming term; Participated in drafting documents for higher-level Trade Union Congresses and amendments to the Vietnam Trade Union Charter, 13th term; The Congress has elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade unions, comprising members who possess the required criteria of competence, qualities, credibility, enthusiasm, ensuring continuity while introducing innovations, and elected delegates to attend the higher-level Trade Union Congress. The results of the Congress have elected 145 Executive Committee members, 53 Inspection Committee members, and 9 Executive Committee members in charge of inspection work. Additionally, 136 exemplary delegates have been elected to attend the 4th Congress of the Industrial and Trade Labor Union of Thai Nguyen province for the 2023-2028 term.

The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of TNG Investment and Trading
Joint Stock Company introduced its new Executive Committee at the 11th Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

Previously, the Industrial and Trade Labor Union directed one unit to organize a grassroots congress on March 19th, 2023. The Trade Union of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company held its 11th Congress for the 2023-2028 term. The Congress was attended by delegates including Comrade Pham Viet Dung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union; Doan Manh Thang, Member of the Provincial Trade Union Executive Committee, Head of the Organizational Committee of the Provincial Labor Union; Ha Thi Thu Huyen, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Federation of Trade Unions, Member of the Provincial Labor Union Executive Committee, and Chairman of the Industrial and Trade Labor Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, as well as the leaders of branches. Notably, 193 delegates were elected from the grassroots and branch-level congresses, representing nearly 10,000 union members in the company. The Congress reported the results of the 2018-2023 term, highlighting significant achievements, especially in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers and propaganda work. Additionally, the Trade Union Executive Committee of the company has always focused on effectively implementing the movement for improving professional competence, the green and clean movement, ensuring occupational health and safety, the movement for excellent labor and innovative work, and the construction of a strong trade union organization. These efforts aim to accompany the enterprise in increasing income for workers and fulfilling production and business plans.

Comrade Ha Thi Thu Huyen, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam
Federation of Trade Unions, Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial
Labor Union, and Chairman of the Industrial and Trade Labor Union, chaired
the online conference to draw lessons from the organization of the 2023-2028 term Congress.

After the pilot Congress, the Industrial and Trade Labor Union promptly organized meetings to review and learn from the experiences of the subsequent congresses of the grassroots trade unions, as well as to proceed with preparations for the 4th Congress of the Industrial and Trade Labor Union of Thai Nguyen province for the 2023-2028 term. The congress is scheduled to be held over 2 days, from July 1st to July 2nd, 2023, at the Political Training Hall of Thai Nguyen province. Simultaneously, efforts are directed towards welcoming the Congresses of higher-level trade unions, including the 17th Congress of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Trade Union, the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Federation of Trade Unions, and the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
