Connecting points for the consumption of Na fruit products in Vo Nhai district.
From January 1, 2021, to April 20, 2023, a total of 560 news articles and directives have been written and updated regarding production development, problem-solving, promotional activities, advertising, and introduction of products and businesses. Promotion and branding activities have been carried out for the Electronic Commerce Trading Floor with over 2,600 products from local and external units and businesses. The Economic Newsletter of the Industry and Trade Department has been edited and published (from January 2021 to April 2023), reaching nearly 250 units and businesses each month. The feature story "Thái Nguyên Industry and Trade: Standing alongside businesses" has been regularly produced with six issues per year for promotional purposes on the Provincial Radio and Television Station. Information and communication support has been provided through websites, internal newsletters of the industry, and mass media platforms, including the production of a documentary film titled "Thai Nguyen Industrial Promotion accompanying rural industrial establishments."

The trade promotion activities during the period of 2021-2023 have successfully organized connections in over 20 exhibition, introduction, and promotion programs within and outside the province. These activities include supporting the consumption of La Hien pomelo products from Vo Nhai district. Over the course of two years, the program has facilitated the consumption of over 160 tons of pomelos to consumers, making a significant contribution to supporting farmers in selling agricultural products amidst market difficulties. The planning and successful organization of the "Bringing Vietnamese Products to the Mountainous Region" program have also been accomplished. The exhibition and trade fair events, such as "One Product for Each Commune, Ward - Thai Nguyen" and "Vietnamese Products Week - Thai Nguyen," have contributed to overcoming difficulties, promoting production, and improving the quality of Vietnamese-branded products, goods, and services. Additionally, in celebration of the Party and welcoming the Lunar New Year, as well as to stabilize market prices and meet the traditional Tet shopping needs of the people, the Department of Industry and Trade successfully collaborated with Phu Binh district to organize the Spring Fair in the Year of the Cat 2023.
The Department of Industry and Trade has implemented support for national
industrial promotion activities and local industrial promotion activities
to assist small and medium-sized enterprises.
In the period of 2021-2023, the Department of Industry and Trade has implemented support for industrial promotion activities to assist small and medium-sized enterprises at both the national and local levels. Specifically, for national industrial promotion, the department has carried out 7 national industrial promotion initiatives to support 19 businesses in the province. These initiatives include support for the application of advanced machinery and equipment in processing agricultural and forestry products, mechanical engineering, with a total implementation budget of 5.7 billion VND. For local industrial promotion, the department has developed 45 initiatives with a total budget of 6 billion VND. These initiatives consist of 38 projects supporting the application of machinery and equipment for rural industrial production establishments in various sectors such as wood processing, agriculture, mechanical engineering, construction materials, and 4 projects supporting the participation in television programs and magazine advertisements. Additionally, there are 2 initiatives supporting the participation of exemplary rural industrial products in trade fairs and 1 initiative for selecting exemplary rural industrial products at the provincial level.
In the upcoming period, the Department will continue to develop plans to support businesses’ participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars, and supply-demand connection conferences held in various provinces and cities nationwide, in line with the development requirements set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provincial People’s Committees, and the Trade Promotion Agency. The Department will organize trade promotion programs to connect agricultural product consumption and maintain stable agricultural and forestry production, helping producers diversify distribution channels and promote product consumption. Additionally, the Department will focus on developing and implementing industrial promotion initiatives within 3-5 years to provide targeted and focal support as a driving force for sustainable development, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, there will be an increased emphasis on exchanging information and understanding the difficulties faced by businesses in order to design programs, objectives, and support measures that are suitable for different types of enterprises, ensuring effectiveness.
