In March, 2013 Thai Nguyen Power Company was assigned by the Northern Power Corporation to manage the 110 KV line and the substation system. This was a important project, for it would provide electricity for the plant construction project of Samsung Group, later would provide power to the production unit investing in Yen Binh Industrial Zone - Pho Yen district.

The project had a total investment of over 105 billion VND, 2300m long of line, including 11 connector columns from Soc Son - to Pho Yen District - Thai Nguyen. According to the proposed schedule, the project would be energized on August for the 1st phase and in December 2013 for the 2nd phase.
The project commenced on April 18, 2013 and energized the 1st phase on September 15, 2013. One of the problems is the obstacles caused by rainy weather in July and August. Thai Nguyen Power Company would endeavor to accelerate the construction work , ensure safety and energize the 2nd phase in December as planned . / .
