On November 18th, 2013, Thai Nguyen Trade Promotion Center cooperated with E-commercial Development Center (E-commerce and Information Technology Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade) to handover website for trade villages in Thai Nguyen province in 2013 at the Conference hall of Industry and Trade Department. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien – Vice Director of Industry and Trade Department; Mr. Nguyen Ky Minh – Vice Director of E-commercial Development Center; Mr. Bui Quang Huan – Chairman of trade village Association of Thai Nguyen province; Ms. Le Thanh Thuy – Vice Director of Trade Promotion Center; as well as representatives of trade villages who are handed over website this time..

Internet has been trongly developing. Website is technological product with many advantages. Having own website is indispensable if any units want to strengthen development as well as promote products, trademarks to the consumers in the fastest and most effective way. In Thai Nguyen Province, there are 105 trade villages with typical products, such as tea, square cake, tofu, vermicelli, etc which are preferred by many consumers; however, most of trade village do not have own website, so promoting as well as expanding consumption market still has a lot of limitation.
Implementing the policy of e-commercial development of the province, especially for trade villages, Industry and Trade Department assigns Trade Promotion Center to cooperate with E-commercial Development Center (E-commerce and Information Technology Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade) to build website for every trade villages. Accordingly, there are 15 website handed over for trade villages in the province in 2013, of which there is one common website of trade village Association and 14 individual websites for trade villages (mostly tea trade village)

At the conference, Trade village Association and 14 trade villages in Thai Nguyen province received their website addresses. This is an opportunity for trade villages to promote, introduce their typical products. It is an important milestone to mark the development and success for trade village in Thai Nguyen, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
