This fair is implemented under the direction of the provincial people’s committee, organized by Department of Trade and Industry with the scale of more than 300 booths of over 200 units inside and outside the province. The fair is to introduce the achievements, technical and scientific advancement for rural and agricultural development; connecting between producers and consumers; honoring strong products of Thai Nguyen; promoting advantages, investment cooperation, trade, tourism and cultural exchange among Thai Nguyen and other provinces nationwide. Apart from agencies, enterprises in the province, there are many participants from the Northern regions, such as Hoa Binh, , Lang Son, Yen Bai, Lai Chai, Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An. There are many typical goods at the fair, such as tea, vermicelli noodles, and other products like stone carving, iron and steel, cement, machine using for agriculture, etc. Besides, many food products, colthes, stationanies, cosmetics, household products are present. Especially, there are parcicipation of the Provincial job center and the exhibition of real, fake products and how to distinguish counterfeit of the provincial Department of Market management.
On the evening of the Opening ceremony, it was estimated that there was nearly 1000 people visiting and purchasing. The fair will be held until the end of October 21th 2013.
